Brian Orozco

Associate Attorney

Since graduating in 2012 from DePaul University College of Law, Brian has focused his career on aggressively fighting for the rights of the most marginalized by litigating police brutality and prisoner rights cases. For over a decade, Brian has represented victims of police brutality for wrongful death, deadly police shootings, beatings, false arrests, malicious prosecutions, illegal searches, and suspicious detentions. Brian has litigated police brutality cases across multiple states (Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin) and forums (State and Federal Court). While fighting for prisoner rights, Brian has litigated cases involving wrongful death, excessive force, failure to protect, failure to intervene, cruel and unusual punishment, and deliberate indifference to medical care. Brian’s incarcerated clients, in both jails and prisons, have been represented in all three Federal District Courts of Illinois, which encompass every Maximum-Security Facility and Division in the state. Through his fight for the rights of the imprisoned, Brian has entered ALL twenty-fie (25) state prisons in Illinois. Brian is a proud Mexican-American originally from San Diego and is fluent in Spanish.
