Scott P. Granfeldt joined the firm directly out of law school and is a newly licensed first-generation lawyer. Scott focuses his practice primarily in federal court on Section 1983 cases and litigates all aspects of the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution.
Scott prides his early success and approach to practicing law on his writing and oral advocacy skills. Since joining the firm, Scott has handled briefing responses to dispositive motions for summary judgement and motions to dismiss.
Scott is also heavily involved in assisting the firm’s managing partner representing successful businesses in different areas of litigation, such as breach of contract, collections, declaratory judgements, lease litigation and tortious interference with business relations. Scott lives in Roselle with his fiancé Sarah and their beloved Bernese Mountain dog Bear. In his free time, Scott enjoys golfing and spending time with his family and friends on Big Lake in Michigan.
